Does Northeastern group and decide on its applicants based on major or college?

<p>For example when Northeastern receives all the applications are they grouped and decided based on major, like all English majors in one pile? Or do they group and decide based on college, like the College of Science applications in one pile. Or do they just decide without grouping? Let me know thanks!</p>

<p>they decide by the college you are applying to. for example i’m pretty sure CAS is easier to get into than CBA.</p>

<p>Actually I’m pretty sure they do it by major. I’ve heard of quotas and such, especially for undeclared in CAS- but it’s a pretty debated topic. CAS is “easier” than CBA because CBA only has one major (but multiple concentrations) and CAS has around 30 or more.</p>
