I’m just wondering if they do because I’d like to include either the fact that they do or don’t have one in my supplement essay somewhere. Thanks.

LOL. I’m sure your supplement essay will be very genuine and heartfelt, and that they were not aware that NU had (or does not have) a core.

Here’s a tip: If you can’t do such simple research on your own, you are going to fail at NU.

Haha.

I don’t have access to a computer at the moment (I’m on my phone) and big sites like NU’s website take FOREVER to load and look through so I figured it would just be easier to ask here (:

It’s not like it’s a crucial part of my essay or anything, I just briefly mention something about not having to go through a tedious core. That’s it. I remember reading somewhere that they don’t have one, but since most schools do have them, I didn’t want to mention something that was wrong. So if they actually do end up having one, I’ll just take that part of my sentence out.

Don’t mind arbiter, he’s a dick sometimes. As for core, northwestern has distribution requirements for WCAS. So there are 6 areas (science, math, lit, etc.) that you have to take two classes in each (off a list of approved courses in each distro area), in addition to freshman seminars. So no specific core classes that everyone takes, but there is no lack of foundation.

Suppasonic, I resemble that remark.
