<p>Basically, not unless your parents work there. They do give loans and grants that add up to full tuition, but most of it will be loans, not grants.</p>
<p>NYU hardly ever gives full rides. some people DO get very generous financial aid packages (sueinphilly is the mother of student who did, i think there’s another one around here) but it’s not the norm. we’re number two for most expensive private university in the US and number one for most students dissatisfied with financial aid.</p>
<p>My family’s income is lower than NYU’s tuition for one year (this is incredibly sad, baha). Does that mean that my financial aid package will be mostly loans?</p>
