Does OSU accept and consider recommendations from high school teachers?

Does OSU even accept these?
I heard that Penn State doesn’t even look at them so I didn’t want to send them if they won’t get looked at.

Don’t send them. Our guidance counselor says they won’t look at them for general undergrad admission. My D high school sends a lot of kids to osu.

Honestly it depends who is looking at your application. Yes, there a few admissions officers who won’t bother looking at them (especially if your scores are already good enough to get in without them), but there are also a lot of officers who will read them if you take the time to get them and send them.

Basically, get rec letters if you’re worried that your GPA and test scores might not cut it.
