Does parts of speech matter in SAT CR?

<p>I’m using the Insider’s Essential Guide to SAT Vocabs and CR, the 600 words in there don’t have parts of speech but I kind of know what each word falls into already. Is that important to know for CR section? </p>

<p>I’m studying grammar for W with Ultimate Guide to Grammar and there’s parts of speech there, I’m just curious about the Critical Reading section.</p>

<p>Not really. In sentcom and vocab-in-context the part of speech will be the same for all answer choices.</p>

<p>Oh alright cool. Also, this book is super long and I probably cant’ finish it by my Jan 25 SAT date since I still have to study for Writing and Math. Is it okay if I don’t and just take more CR practice tests?</p>
