<p>^I know a dude who was admited ED to Jerome Fisher. He was forced to withdraw all other apps when he found out in December. He was also admitted EA to MIT and Chicago but declined those acceptances as well. Because he’s top 4% in our class, he was auto accepted into the UC system so he had to decline that opportunity as well. All his cookies are now with Penn. I just can’t imagine Penn would pull the rug out from under him now that he’s given up all other opportunities at other schools just because he gets a couple of B’s or even a C second semester. If they did that, he essentially couldn’t go to college next year even though he’s like a super stud academic dude (NM finalist, etc.). That just seems too cruel to be real to me.</p>
