Hey everyone, I’m planning on majoring in biochemistry (leaning towards the one in the chemistry department, but maybe in the biology department), but I’m also probably premed.

[Chemistry | Columbia College](<a href=“Columbia College Bulletin < Columbia College | Columbia University”>Columbia College Bulletin < Columbia College | Columbia University) the requirements for the major in the chemistry department, Sequence A has Physics C1401, C1402, C1403 as an option… Would this also satisfy the physics requirements for medical schools… or would i be required to take more advanced physics courses? Btw, I got a 5 on the AP physics exam… but I’m assuming med students won’t really use physics so i’d like to take the easier physics classes to maintain a good GPA.

Thanks :)

And also I guess… would the physics courses listed in the biology department’s biochemistry major requirements satisfy medical school requirements for physics? for the biology department, it’s Physics V1201 - V1202 General Physics
