Also please can yoiu give me a list of some open curiculum LACs. I don’t want to spend time studying subjects in which I have no interest.

I believe Amherst has no core curriculum (GEs)

also, grinnell, hamilton, vassar, and brown.

but i second OP’s question about pomona’s core curriculum.

[Pomona College : Academics : Overview : General Education](http://www.pomona.edu/ADWR/Registrar/Overview/GeneralEducation.shtml)

Note - you also need to demonstrate proficiency in a foreign language, either with AP credit or by taking courses at Pomona.

But these are such broad categories, and the 5Cs have such diverse course offerings, that you’re bound to find some course you actually want to take in each of them.

very easy to satisfy. Astrology for the science, statistics for the math, only one of each needed. Foreign language olnly takes a 4 or a 650.

Yeah, and for PE req, you can take table tennis, badminton, pickleball, yoga, fencing, frisbee, dance, etc…

yeah I don’t think it can be called a Core in Pomona’s case. :P

I think ducks meant “astronomy.”

Yeah, if Pomona has an astrology course, I’m yanking my kid out of there.

thanks guys…that was really a lot of help…
