Does "Preferred Admit" Kill Scholarship Chances?

<p>I just noticed the following text on the LSA scholarship site:</p>

<p>“The LSA Scholarship Program is primarily for students who intend to remain in LSA for their bachelor’s degrees. Under special circumstances, if funds permit, students applying to LSA and also Preferred Admission to other UM schools and colleges may be considered, although such scholarships will end when the students leave LSA.”</p>

<p>Does this mean, as it seems to state here, that if you have applied as a preferred admit to Ross or another school/college within UofM you have seriously hurt your chances of receiving an LSA scholarship?</p>

<p>Do any current or past Ross preferred admits have any insights they can offer here?</p>

<p>I would think it has certainly hurt your chances. I mean, just read it yourself: “under special circumstances, if funds permit, students applying to LSA and also Preferred Admission…”</p>
