True or false???

What do you mean by “smarter”? Reading things of academic merit make you more knowledgeable, which helps in school. Reading in general helps your vocabulary and thinking skills, so yes, I’d say reading helps with school.

Not as much as XBL does ;)

Yes, I believe it does. ^What is XBL?

XBOX Live? Which sucks compared to the PSN.

I always thought that it would make me smarter, but it’s only made me harder.

^lmao.

^^ hahahahaha.

Reading improves your vocabulary and gives you a sense of good writing styles. I’m not sure if this would render one “smarter”, but it’s definitely helpful.

Reading a lot improves your scores on the english/reading section of the act (if you consider that being smart). I’ve always been a reader, but I read a lot more prior to the act and scored a 35 and 33 on the english and reading respectively.

Well, it might help you with grammar. I’m entirely convinced that there is plenty of room for improvement in your case.

It might help your reading comprehension. . . .

Smarter? I don’t know, maybe. Better at school? Almost certainly.
