Does required textbooks' costs include in tuition fee or other fees we need to pay to UMich?

As topic stated.

No, you buy textbooks separately at the bookstore or elsewhere. They may cost up to $1000/year.

Tip: Don’t buy textbooks from the Barnes and Noble store unless you absolutely cannot find them outside of it. As mentioend above it can cost up to $1000/year if you are not careful. Always try to buy from students or online. You will save A LOT of money (i.e. my 1st semester freshman year I spent about $500 on textbooks, this past semester I spent $50 with either buying off of students or not buying the textbook at all for a class due to ppl telling me that it is not needed).

Books are not included on the bill you receive from the university. You just pay for the books out of your pocket, as needed.
