Does RR has the equal opportunity as ER

Does it mean that I have the same opportunity as those regular applicants since I was deferred from the ER? Do I have a little bit more advantage or not at all if, say an applicant in RR has the same stats as I do.

Who knows…

Why would you have any advantage … let’s say in theory?

There are no stats released by the university that can answer your question. My experience with deferred applicants is that their chances of admission are no better and no worse than the chances of admission of regular decision applicants.

Equal opportunity? As in what?

There’s no advantage to being admitted ER vs RR, the reason ER is a big deal is because it’s easier to get in (there are no stats, but anecdotal evidence shows it’s easier). If you get in you get in. You could still get into honors program.

What the OP meant to ask is if the Michigan Admissions Committee gives preference to deferred ER applicants over RR applicants.
