As titled. Son is interested in applying to some labs on east coast, but we live in California. Wonder if SEAP prioritize local applicants who live close by, even though the application requirement just says applicants need to arrange transportation to the lab?
If anyone knows, or if anyone who gets into a SEAP lab as out of state can share, that will be great! Thank you!
Probably not. Since students are responsible for arranging and paying for their own housing, labs generally don’t factor an applicant’s home location into their selection decisions.
