Does Stanford care about where you live?

<p>well, 45% of the admits are from CA, so it cant hurt. they are now trying to become more of a national university, so that number is going down.</p>

True, but just keep in mind that Stanford also gets a disproportionately large percentage of their applicants from CA, so it makes sense that a lot of their admits are from CA as well.</p>
