Does Stanford give credit for AP scores in classes like history/literature?

<p>Does Stanford give credit for AP scores in classes like history/literature? I was looking at Stanford’ policies for AP credit and I noticed that they do not include classes like APUSH/AP gov’t/ AP english literature/ ap english language/ ap euro… etc. They only mention science and math courses. So, does Stanford only give credit for AP scores in the science and math courses?</p>

<p>Yes, but not biology or stats.</p>

<p>Stanford only gives credit for the exams listed, which is only foreign language, calculus, chemistry, physics, and CS. Starting Fall 2008, chemistry credit is no longer useful, since it gives placement into Chem 31X rather than Chem 33.</p>
