<p>I wish to know if Stanford has Early Decision 2 or not??? do the chances to receive scholarships and financial aid decrease when applying via ED2???</p>

<p>Stanford does not have early decision at all. It has non-binding single choice early action for which you must apply by Nov 1. Single choice means you are not allowed to apply early action or early decision elsewhere (with some exceptions such as you can apply early action to your own state’s public university). It then has regular admission for which you need to apply by January 1. Being admitted early action has no adverse impact on scholarships and financial aid and you actually follow the same financial aid schedule of regular admission applicants.</p>
