does Taking Georgia tech discrete calc helps get into Tech?

I’m a junior and i’m taking ap Calc BC right now.
Next year I’m planning on taking Georgia Tech Discrete math. How much will that help me get into tech?

Also out of many SAT practice tests, I’ve always gotten only one or two wrong on math section (I got zero wrong only one time). So I figure i’ll be getting a really good SAT math score when the time comes on march, but I am really weak on reading and writing. Does Georgia tech look at more towards the combined score or look at SAT math more than reading and writing?

The math section of the SAT is without a doubt the most important. However, you should still aim for 600+ in both the reading and writing sections. Anything below 600 will hurt your chances greatly.

Middle 50% SAT:

CR: 590-690
MA: 650-740
WR: 590-690
