Does teaching a DeCal count as employment?

<p>I’m working on my resume, and unsure where to place that I taught a DeCal on Middle Eastern Politics. </p>

<p>The general consensus that I’ve heard is that “employment” or “work experience” on a resume doesn’t have to be paid, and I include unpaid internships under this field.</p>

<p>But should I put that I taught a DeCal under employment too?</p>

<p>If not, where’s a better location to put this under? Thanks</p>

<p>I wouldn’t put in under employment. You can make another section titled “Leadership” or “Activities”. You can even have a general section titled “Experience” and make a “Teaching” or “Leadership” subsection.</p>

<p>I would classify it with internships or something. When I taught a DeCal the department placed me as unpaid staff in their system.</p>
