Does the ACT round up or down?

I.E. If you have scores of 25, 27, 26, 33 = 111 (an average of 27.75), would the ACT award you a composite score of 27 or 28?

round up
almost positive

round up 100% positive

they did for me

They round to the nearest whole number, which means they can round up or down. With an average ending in .5, they presumably round up.

I’ll just add on to increase the positive say- they definitely, 100% add up (well, as long as you’ve got that .5).

It’s why I’m a tad bit upset that one of my sections wasn’t just 1 point higher- my score ended in .25

Same here, one lousy quarter of a point from a 34.

Round up. That’s how my friend got a 35 (he had a 34.5)

Now he goes to Yale :D
