I want to focus on three difficult but interesting classes next semester instead of the usual four arbitrary classes that I & all other students at my college take. Does that reflect poorly on me for law school because I took a fewer amount of credits?
Law schools care only about your GPA. They do not care about your major or your credit load.
If you take a lighter semester load in one semester, you’ll be fine. If this is a constant thing, then it will probably have a negative influence on your admissions.
@TakeYourSuccess: What is your basis for thinking it would have a negative influence on law school admissions? Especially given the massive decrease in law school applications.
