<p>Actually, I remember my teacher saying that too, although we went through it anyways. Maybe just glance over the formula just in case.</p>
<p>I don’t know that I’ve ever had to do one of these on any of the practice exams I’ve taken, although I do know how to do them. It can easily be done on the calculator should it show up.</p>
<p>We learned it, but in all the practice tests that I’ve seen, I’ve yet to see a geometric distribution problem, just binomial</p>
