I’m looking at a few different schools to major in Business. Some of them have quite a lot of math (for business, anyway), and some do not. Do employers like to see more math and know that you went through a more rigorous curriculum, or would they not really care? I think the extra math would help me in the end, but I was wondering.

Your answers are appreciated. :)

It certainly wouldn’t hurt, but doing it to impress employers will have little if any effect. This is assuming you don’t go into econ, stats, or actuarial science.

Unless you want to do something that involves high level math like actuarial science or finance, go with the less rigorous major. At the end of the day, what the potential employers will care about will be your GPA, not that it’s lower because of a rigorous math class.
