Does the reputation of your interviewer carry any weight?

<p>I interviewed with a researcher at one of the premier research laboratories in the world who basically discovered the top quark. Does this add more weight to his recommendation or no?</p>

<p>That’s just simply what happens when you go to MIT. You meet a person, and then figure out that he’s a world leading scientist :D</p>
