<p>I am looking at two different schools to get my BS in accounting at. Neither school is AASCB accredited, just regionally accredited. Due to circumstances in my life, I do not have the option to attend an AASCB accredited school. My question is, does the name of the school really matter? One school is more well known (University of Minnesota) and the other is a little less well known unless you live in the immediate area (Bemidji State University). Both school’s programs are very comparable, but UMC will cost about 15k more when all is said and done. So, will the name of my school matter in the long run?</p>
