Does the UC Berkeley School of Chemistry Accept AP Physics C: Mechanics ONLY?

<p>Does UC Berkeley Chemistry Department Accept AP Physics C: Mechanics ONLY?</p>

<p>and it says that
“Physics C, both tests: Sum of scores 9 or higher, earns credit for Physics 7A.”</p>

<p>Do I need to take BOTH tests to get credit, or can I just take Mechanics and get credit for another course?</p>

<p>The way it is worded, yes, you have to take both if you are in the College of Chemistry (majors in chemistry, chemical engineering, and chemical biology) at Berkeley.</p>

<p>If you take Mechanics only (and get a passing score), you will still receive 2.7 units of credit, but you will not be exempted from any class.</p>
