My daughter was admitted this year to LSA out of state with a 3.7 UW GPA and 4.2 Weighted, with a 33 ACT; deferred and then admitted in March. Not far off from you and similar APs. But she was a legacy, so that might have helped her. On the contrary, she was all A’s freshman year and her GPA trended down, not up, including a C in Honors Chem and C+ in AP Calc, both one semester grades.
Write a good essay, maybe see if you can take a community college class or two over the summer to boost your GPA, and you might have a decent shot, especially these days. I think you’re best off applying to LSA.
BTW, she’s not attending.
Did she take all of her AP’s senior year like me? Does applying to Ross give me a disadvantage? I thought if I was denied I would just be placed in LSA.
