Does this affect your admission chances?

<p>Does listing the names of others colleges that you are applying to affect your chances? Especially if you’re applying to somewhere like USC?</p>

<p>I see…well, I’m applying for the USC School of Pharmacy, and I listed University of the Pacific and St. John’s U for my other colleges…my goodness, does that mean USC’s gonna reject me for that?? (although…UoP and SJU aren’t better, but they’re still decent…)</p>

<p>Like…USC is ranked #15, UoP is #51, and SJU is #61…so is USC going to know that they’re my first choice?</p>

Yeah, I heard about Rutgers…but I would prefer to stay in California. I just applied to SJU (in NY) for the heck of it and got accepted, but I doubt I’d go that far lol. Thanks so much for the tip though.</p>

<p>If you applied by that nov 15? deadline for UoP, you may get stuff soon. I just got accepted to the 2+3 pharmacy at UoP. The letter was dated 2/26/2010 and postmarked 3/1/2010.</p>

<p>Well…it’s too late now, I already filled it out, with UoP and SJU on it.
…am i screwed or something? Handala92’s been reassuring and all, but I’m still freaking out.</p>

<p>i got a 2180, or 1490/1600
my gpa is 4, (but i believe my hs has much grade inflation.)<br>
I have a few strong extracurricular activities which probably helped too.</p>

<p>when i was talking to a past USC grad pharmacist, she mentioned that UoP catered more towards retail, and USC more towards clinical care. not sure if shes correct or not, but its an interesting side note.</p>

<p>You said it yourself. It’s too late and it’s not like you can change anything anyway. There’s nothing else you can do but wait. I agree with Handala. I honestly don’t think it will matter. Relax and breathe. :)</p>
