<p>Hi, I’m a senior and all that jazz.</p>
<p>I have straight As pretty much, except I’m going to end up with a B in my Graphic Design class because of our final project.</p>
<p>So, my question is: Since this class isn’t in the strictly academic categories, will it impact me severely?</p>
<p>And I realize one B doesn’t make or break anything, it just looks ugly on my transcript.</p>

<p>I don’t think it’ll matter, because I don’t think colleges care what you get in Graphic Design class, unless they’re art schools or something like that. I got a B in an art class because I was too lazy to do the homework, but I don’t think Swarthmore cared about what my grades in art or P.E. were.</p>
<p>It won’t impact you severely. Unless you’re applying to some intense art schools, colleges will understand that it’s often not easy to get an A in a specialized class like art.</p>
<p>The only lasting effect will be on your class rank. And if it is your only B, that should be minimal.</p>
