Does this count as a visit?

My dad has a friend who lives in St. Louis. We took a family trip there, and the only thing I watned to do was to go see wustl. I did walk around campus and such, and converse, but I didnt do any info sessions/tours/interviews. I dont reallyhave the time to go to st. louis again. Would this count as “showng interest?”

How would they know you visited though to count your interest?

Let WashU know you visited by emailing them with a follow up question. You could word it something like - " I was in St. Louis recently and visited your campus. I was especially impressed with …(fill in the blank) and would like to have more information about WashU (or a specific program at WashU). Please add my name to your mailing list (if you aren’t already on it) OR Could you tell me who to contact to receive more information about …?(fill in the blank). Sincerely, …

This will get you on their radar as an interested student. Also, attend any college rep visits in your area. If there isn’t one arranged at your school contact WashU to see if there will be one at a nearby school that you could attend.
