I received an email from Vanderbilt titled, “Vanderbilt Appreciates Your Early Interest”, with the following message.
Dear ______,
You are among the first students who have indicated an intention to apply to Vanderbilt for the fall 2016 entering class, and we are honored by your early interest in our university. We look forward to reviewing your application once you have submitted all the required materials.
Will they actually take into account that I showed interest and emailed them very early on when reviewing my application? Or does this mean absolutely nothing? I realize that if this does have any effect, it will be very minimal; I am just curious.
