Hello, do you think the following email means anything (other than them needing the taxes), considering it is so late in the process. I am really starting to get nervous over decisions and this email just seemed odd to come so late.
“We are reviewing your application materials and need a copy of your parents 2014 business taxes. Please send this to IDOC as soon as possible to minimize the delay in your receipt of your financial aid notification.”
Thanks for any response
If you’re asking if this says anything about your chances of getting in, then no. Its just a plain e-mail asking you to complete the financial portion of your application.
I would send the business taxes right away.
It’s coming so late because you still haven’t submitted them…
The financial aid department is separate from the admissions department, so it is completely unrelated to your chances of getting in.
@CCClassof2019 @jamesjunkers @Ranza123 i thought i detected something in the way that email was written, and i was right. I was just accepted into cornell!
Congrats, but please don’t get anybody else’s hopes up who may receive a similar email: again, admissions and financial aid are completely separate offices; this email does not indicate admission.
ED or RD?? Today’s, like, in between the notification dates. Weird.
Anyway, congrats!
@IvyClimber117 @bodangles i am a male and i was accepted into engineering. I was invited to the diversity hosting and it says my admittance packet is in the mail
I thought acceptance emails have not gone out yet? Weird they would send a special one to you and nobody else.
If that is the case then congrats!!!
@lkgrg17 it wasnt a special email just for me. The wording of the email is that of a likely letter, but on the bottom it says my admittance packet is in the mail
