<p>“If you want to go on to med school, Mudd is not for you.”</p>
<p>I actually asked this question, and Slak gave me that response. I was a prospective joint bio/chem major, and to be honest with you, I think the only thing holding anyone back from going to med school is the GPA. The required courses can easily be satisfied at Mudd or at any of the surrounding colleges.</p>
<p>I can’t tell you much about the GPA, since I’m not a student, but current students at Mudd have complained about the rigor and the workload. However, I think the minimum GPA to apply to most med schools is 3.0. Mudders are smart people, so I don’t think the average person would have any problems with getting higher than a 3.0. Again, I’m not a student, so what I said might not be entirely true. Sorry if it isn’t. :(</p>
