<p>but, actually, with the ‘rec’ i wouldnt recommend getting an official recommendation from a student there, but I’ve heard stories about people contacting students affiliated with a particular club or sport who then talk to adcom on the applicants behalf. thats been known to help.</p>
<p>to clarify…those students talk to adcoms saying “i talked to this applicant and i think they would be a really good addition to my club/team.”</p>
<p>^yeah thats what i meant. Like if someone puts a prospective applicants name down on a “recommendation list”.</p>
