Does this junior get into Yale?

There’s this one kid who’s applying to Yale next year because three or four of his relatives have attended there and one currently works at a professor there. Considering his stats, can he be accepted if he applies next year?

Stats are estimates

GPA Should be hovering a 2.9-3.1 considering what he’s said aloud - he’s said A LOT too. Includes a 70 in Chem and several Cs in a significant portion of his AP courses.
SAT: 1880
APs: Will take Chem, Lang and USH, I’d guess a 2-3 on all of them.
SAT II: unknown
Recs: I highly doubt they’ll be good considering the nuisance he is to his teachers.
ECs: All South Jersey as Violist
Tri-M
A few other scattered clubs.

Remember his extensive legacy… Does he have a shot?

He’s a Jewish American in case his ethnicity matters.

Not a chance.

Lol kidding?

Not unless his family donated a seven-figure sum to Yale. Special consideration only gets you so far.

If the OPs summary of the applicant is correct, virtually no chance.

This has to be a ■■■■■ lol. :</p>

Well, you never know. Yale may feel a need to have a mediocre and arrogant, but, well connected, student. They have done it before. I don’t suppose this kid’s father is head of the CIA, is he?

Wait…

You’re not tricking us by giving us Dubya’s academic info, are you?

as far as i know,2200 on sat is nothing at yale.
