I’ve taken the SAT I’s three times… and each time I take them, my score goes down. I’m disappointed in my score but I guess not surprised since I wasn’t able to study as much as I promised myself I would.

My scores:
11/2003:M 710 V 710
05/2004: M: 660 V 730
11/2004 (yup, just got it): M 650 V 760

How will colleges look at this? My composite score is higher now because of my latest verbal score but since I’m applying to mostly UC’s, it won’t matter. My SAT II scores are decent (750, 730, 710) so I’m just worried about how they will look at my SATI’s.

It looks good for any major other than engineering. Even for engineering it beats several scores- be happy- it looks like you’ve been focusing primarily on your verbal section.

don’t be disappointed. i have the same scores as you, but reversed. and i consider them darn good enough! many places take your best 2 scores, so you’d have a 1440 rather than a 1410.

keep in mind that sat scores are worth nothing in themselves. those scores are good enough for most any school, so stop worrying and go study or ec or whatever you want.
