Does this make you nervous?

I think it’s really strange. What kind of work are they here for that they would forfeit the 2K cost of the Montana program?

I wondered that too. That’s a lot of money. Also, they have to BE somewhere and clearly they know it’s not Montana. Which makes me wonder if it wasn’t planned. Hotel rooms and space are really tight in NY right now.

If these guys had been from China, or Ecuador, or Australia, we won’t be nervous, we’d just be confused. I guess it’s good that the FBI is keeping tabs on them, just in case… but really, if there’s no evidence of any kind of plot besides the fact that they’re from Egypt… I’m not going to lose any sleep over it.

This really isn’t very unusual; persons of questionable intent slip into the country and disappear all the time - various federal agencies lose track. This one just happens to have made it into the news. There are numerous such circumstances in play at any given moment, and so far all have been benign issues.

It makes me concerned. And its perfectly legitimate to do some profiling and be more concerned over these guys missing than over a bunch of swedes or poles.

I’m not going to lose any sleep over it either, but I hope someone at the FBI and other appropriate departments does lose some sleep and does the checking to figure out where they are and what they are doing. soon.

Not all.

they found one of them in minnesota

Two more found in New Jersey.

except this wasnt one person, it was 11.

this does make me nervous, but I am puzzled as to intent- if they aren’t dangerous- then why the ruse, if they are dangerous then why did two turn themselves in?

Not only do I find it suspicious, but the timing is also very… unfortunate to say the least.

This guy was apprehended trying to board a Chicago-Montana flight and he was in posession of a NY-Montana ticket. Very strange!

I can tell you one thing, if they were staying at Montana State and it was rumored they were terrorists, the Montana State kids would probably send them to the hospital
