Does this sound like a plausible plan?

My high school career thus far has not been very impressive:

freshman:
2.83 / 2.6

sophomore:
.8 / 1.6 ( I made up all the classes I failed )

junior:
2.71 / 3.3

senior year classes:
AP Art History
AP English
AP Gov’t
Chemistry
Algebra II
Spanish III

SAT: 1850
SAT US History: 700
SAT World History: 600

I know I have the potential to do well; my brother goes to Duke and my sister goes to USC. Its in my blood, but unforunately I can get really lazy. The reality of education hit me really late, but now that it is has, I have a large impetus to strive in my classes.

I understand there is an appeal system in the UC’s. If I receive a 3.5+ in my senior classes, would I be a competitive candidate for the UC appeal system for UCR, UCD, or UCSC?

Does anyone actually know someone that has been accepted through the appeal system and what the circumstances were?

Accio Acceptance Letter!

Finite Incantatum

UCR isn’t as competitive as the other UCs so it might be the one that’ll give you the “accio acceptance letter” as long as you finish strong in your Senior year.

Take a bit of Felix Felicis with that.

Or you can trick me to think I actually drank, when I didn’t.

Well, because of your father James Potter, you should really consider looking into Hogwarts. Hogwarts has a very prestigious wizardry program that can help boost you into top tier graduate level schools.

I would suggest you work on your EC’s. You could join an order such as the Order of the Phoenix or save prisoners from azkaban.

It would also be beneficial if you took up a sport. Colleges love students who aspire to great heights and take their performance up to the varsity level. I would recommend you try out of Varsity Quidditch.

A great way to boost your WPA (wizard point average), would be to take classes at several community colleges. Professors love to see wizards who take time to enhance their knowledge in alchemy and transfiguration.

All in all, you have a decent chance at UCR and lower schools. However, you should defiantly apply to Hogwarts.

Tip: majoring in Parceltongue enhances your chance of acceptance since it is a relatively uncompetitive major.

wait a minute…

whats going on hear, are we speaking in tongues

if so…

lfjh;oehoregijhor;gkefoguhofgijkerogijwrkfwjoergjpkgnjaopfjpsdfmoergj0pdgfnirgh[w’poejorgijrg;owierjgw’peigjorgijhaeoprgijerjgpoerigjeprogiejrg

You should definitely work on yours ECs at this point. Try going for clubs or volunteering, but I would personally recommend taking up Quidditch (it’s pretty popular at the top wizarding schools).

You SHOULD have some chance at UCR/UCM, but your GPA is a serious detriment. Though I think Hogwarts would appreciate you because of the legacy factor. If not then Durmstrang if you don’t mind being an international student or going out of state.

If all fails, im pretty sure UCMerced wont reject you. i think they have like…800students or something…anyways, point is, its one of the weakest, if not the weakest, UC around, so you will have a better chance there.
