Does This Sound Naive?

I am writing an essay about my interest in public/global health and how it developed from my interests in politics, international relations, the natural sciences, and history. Near the end of the essay, I want to mention how I think cooperation between nations in the form of global health initiatives can bring greater understanding, stability, and peace. Does this sound overly naive?

it sounds too impersonal.

Well, it’s certainly not naive. In fact, its quite true. However, I feel that you’re kinda restating the obvious…

It would good to spend some time explaining what prompted u to become interested in “politics, international relations, the natural sciences, and history”, because most teenagers would be hard-pressed to describe what “international relations” means.

…and the Pope is Catholic, too.

I recommend nixing this line.

No its not too naive. Recognize that as humans - we all have similar biological build-ups and are effected by similar diseases etc. Health initiatives is a common denominator for nations to build frendlier relations. Eg. Countries have different technological and political pursuits, but when it comes to health - they all want the same thing. It’s definitely not naive. It’s really smart. Then you can go into how in an increasingly global age, it is actually very important for nations to coordinate to prevent the spread of diseases etc. Good luck!
