I remember when I first visited the website their was an option to apply for one but no it seems to be gone. I called the school but I just got redirected to NYU who told me about Steinhardt. but my heart was really set on Tisch. So I was wondering did I read the website wrong or does Tisch have a drawing program?
You can take art courses at Steinhardt even if you are enrolled in Tisch. The caveat is that if you are interested in Drama, then you need to find courses that are offered on the alternate two days when you don’t have studio. You also can take what is called (or at least the students call it) an “academic semester” or two where you don’t do studio. You can take academic semesters beginning in your junior year (for sure, but maybe during your first two years, but the primary studio is supposed to be four consecutive semesters).
