Does U Rochester give more or less scholarship than NYU

I wanted to know whether U Rochester, normally, gives more or less scholarship and/or aid than NYU.

<a href=“University of Rochester Tuition | CollegeData”>http://www.collegedata.com/cs/data/college/college_pg03_tmpl.jhtml?schoolId=117

http://www.collegedata.com/cs/data/college/college_pg03_tmpl.jhtml?schoolId=436

I applied to both schools and Rochester gave me generous aid and NYU have me a lackluster package.

Rochester is one of the few highly ranked (Top 50) schools that routinely awards merit money. Don’t know about their complete need-based FA packages, but by reputation, it would be hard to be less generous than NYU.

Rochester easily gives more money. I remember one statistic that said that 92% of UofR students received some form of aid. From a personal perspective, my daughter who recently graduated from UofR, received $15,000 a year in merit aid from them and she was offered nothing from NYU. We would have been full pay at NYU.
