Does UCB engineering look at nontransferable courses during admissions?

<p>Because I’m wondering whether I should retake a nontransferable course.</p>

<p>because some courses like “English 79” at my school is a requirement for freshman english, and you must pass this written exam that judges critique, in order to go on. I got a C in it and it sorta is weighing on my GPA.</p>

<p>then also because some people have to find their way in life, people don’t just come out of high school and go to CC and know what class they are going to take, they might take different routes early in their academic career.</p>

<p>also, classes such as Math 82, which is "intermediate algebra"at my school, is not CSU/UC transferrable certified, however it is a requirement to go to Statistics or Pre-Calculus.</p>

<p>@OP, I’m sure if you show an upward trend, they won’t fret on it. Usually only graduate/professional programs such as Dental School/Law School, etc are the ones who incorporate the OVERALL GPA into your admission decision. UCB will probably only concern themselves with your transferrable courses.</p>
