<p>Communications? Yes.</p>

<p>Any engineering? No. There are options, however, to take classes in Biomedical Engineering (department is run jointly with NCSU) and there is an “Applied Sciences” major, which is supposed to prepare students for pursuing an engineering degree in grad school.</p>
