Yes, they will first reduce your loan and work study, and then grant money. You do need to report external scholarships to UMich.
Oh, so that is fine if it is just loans and work study.The scholarship I am applying to is 1k a year.
Yes, it is good if you can replace some loan and workstudy with scholarships.
