<p>i would never recommend a senior teacher writing your rec just for the fact that the teacher hasnt had a whole year to get to know you (unless youve had the teacher before).</p>
<p>in any case, i had a sophmore rec and a junior one. got in. </p>
<p>my opinion is that it goes junior rec, sophomore rec, senior rec, then freshman rec.</p>
