Does USC request Second Semester Grades?

I couldn’t find if this has been asked before, or at least not in this context.
I know they ask for the mid year report for almost everyone to report first semester senior grades, but do they require second semester grades to be submitted?

I want to drop Anatomy & Physiology for second semester so I can focus on a couple other classes, and I also want to take up Piano Lessons (I’m not sure how to report that).
These are the current courses I’m taking, they’re almost all full-year classes:

AP Physics
AP Calculus BC
Anatomy & Physiology
Creative Writing
Racquet Sports
Research Seminar in Science

Last semester, I had public speaking instead of Creative Writing, but I received all A’s regardless. Will dropping Anatomy severely impact my chances of being accepted?

Thanks!

Second semester grades are required to be sent to the university that you have decided to attend after being accepted. Many universities require second semester grades because they want to verify that students are still working hard in their classes and not slacking off.
If you get in to USC and decide to attend, you are required to send in your second semester grades before you can enroll.
I do not think that dropping Anatomy and Physiology will be an issue. You just need to email your admissions counselor about the minor change in your schedule. However, if you suddenly start to get bad grades all of a sudden, drop many of your classes, or skip classes that is a different story and could get you rescinded.

If you think taking Anatomy on top of everything else will make your other grades suffer, I would definitely drop it. You still have other APs in your schedule and USC isn’t really looking for you to kill yourself 2nd semester senior year, they just want to check for consistency (i.e. you’re not taking all super easy classes/getting C’s). I highly doubt it would be a deciding factor, especially if you get straight A’s in the classes you ARE taking. Good luck :)
