Does UVA record attendance for tours to track interest?

Hello,

I was just wondering if UVA marks your attendance for touring the campus and if it shows your interest in the school. I have a friend who is a second year student and willing to give me a personal tour of the campus, but I didn’t want to miss out on showing my interest if they record your attendance in the official tours.

We track session and tour sizes so we can reserve the appropriate room and have enough tour guides scheduled.

No they do not. I was actually just on the tour yesterday, had a wonderful tour guide named Saskia! But the info session the guy said “UVA does not track demonstrated interest, so you didn’t need to be all concerned whether you checked in for the tour”
