Does what math courses you take in undergrad matter?

I’m a history major and am forced to take multiple math courses to fulfill basic core requirements. Does it matter if I choose to take cupcake math courses? How will grad schools view this?

If you’re doing history, they won’t care at all.

Consider taking a course in statistics, but other than that I don’t think it matters which math courses you pick. (I am saying statistics because (1) statistics is always useful and (2) because the general graduate school application of my college asks if applicants have taken a course in statistics, regardless of the actual program that they are applying to.)
