does anyone know

Composite almost all upper tier colleges do this.

a bit off topic, but how does yale regard the writing section of the SAT?

nope. Yale does single sitting from what i’ve heard

No. Yale does composite.

As long as composite is higher than single-sitting, Yale will consider the composite.

Though it rarely makes a difference; scores usually vary by what 20 points from test to test??

UCs and (I think) Caltech consider single sitting scores. Pretty much all other high-end schools that I am aware of consider composite scores.

It can make a big difference…To me it makes a difference of like 150 points…20 points is the average…

it can make a big difference. I am an international… English skills can boom very fast…
My Oct SAT is 310 points higher than my Apr. SAT… lol

Yale does composite. I am 100% sure on this, although I’m too lazy to go to the website and find the specific section that says it.
