I am applying to Yale’s engineering program and while browsing the website, I noticed that they mentioned bridging the gap between science and the humanities, but I can’t find anywhere where it is explicitly stated that engineering majors can take liberal arts electives. Could someone help me? Thanks
To fulfill your engineering degree, about half your coursework will be related. That means about half your classes will be non-engineering related. Any course open to undergraduates is open to any engineering student.
Thank you!
DS is a sophomore at Yale and has recently selected Computer Science as his major. That is technically part of SEAS now, but he’s taking the same courses as he was previously, and is still considering a double major in History or Psychology.
