Does your gpa include your Fall 2009 grades?

Just wondered whether others’ unofficial transcripts show 0 credits earned for the fall semester at this point or whether your fall semester grades have now been calculated into your gpa?

Yeah, mine still does.

your fall grades dont get calculated into your gpa.
because your gpa is your OVERALL gpa — which means it includes only your final grades
so the school cant calculate your 1st quarter grades with 3 years of final grades
you can however have your counselor send your 1st quarter grades to your college

Thanks, Terps9. I should’ve been more clear that I was looking for answers from current UMD students about the semester that just ended.

Btw, when I said mine still does, I mean it still reads 0.00 credits earned. I suppose it’ll be updated sometime after the university reopens for the winter (Jan 4).

That’s what I figured. Thanks, not only for this response but for all the help you’ve given in 2009 and earlier. Very much appreciated. Happy new year!

If you had a Saturday exam, that could be why. I know for my art history class, I have the exam on January 30, so I’ll have an I (incomplete) until then, and thus a 0 for GPA and credits earned, since they can’t tally that until the semester (all classes) are fully over. :)
